THE THREE PHASES IN A SNAPSHOT
Phase 1 Attack
Lose weight

We will hit the reset button, and your body will eliminate the modern foods that contribute to your bad health—gluten, sugars, and processed foods (and some other foods like rice and root vegetables which increase insulin release), through a two-week food plan to conquer cravings and jump-start weight loss. It is the most motivating period, as you will see the pounds drop fast. However, it is the hardest. Initially, you may feel deprived when you cannot eat your preferred foods. This is normal and expected. But when you start eating more nutrient-rich foods, you will find that your craving for processed and poor foods will decline. You will then begin to take pleasure in other flavors of clean whole foods, the crunchiness of fresh salads, the sweetness of berries, the healthy flavors of vitamin-and-mineral-rich vegetables, the softness of lean meats, the crustiness of a toasted whole grain slice of bread, and the creamy richness of seeds and nuts.
Phase 2 Transform
Lose weight and build muscle

We will continue to boost your metabolism to keep your fat reserves burning. This phase lasts four to eight weeks, depending on how far you need to go. During Phase 2, you will continue to eat protein with every meal and start to add denser carbs, including whole grains. You will plan for a weekly celebration meal and snack.

Phase 3
Sustain it

During the maintenance phase, your food plan avoids weight regain while enjoying delightful food. This phase is ongoing and maintains what you achieved. Although it may sound challenging, it should not be. You will learn to reject the diet mentality and naturally eat with a sense of balance. By this time, you should have developed a powerful platform with healthy eating habits to sustain
your goal weight.

Making this method a priority in your daily life will guarantee amazing results. It works if you work it, so stick to it, and do not let anything interfere with your dreams of becoming fit, healthy, and free. It’s ongoing. It’s circular. There is no finish line to weight management. While losing weight is like
reaching the top of a mountain, the challenge is not getting there but staying there.
